Konser - Dinleti - Date (Asmalımescit- İstiklal)

Date İstanbul Asmalı Mescit'te 2014'ün yeni mekânlarından biri diye tanımlanabilir. Anladığım kadarıyla işletmecileri eski Cuba Bar'ın yerini ve yanındaki mekânı satın almış ve yeni bir projeyle İstanbul hayatına girmişler. Haftanın neredeyse her günü canlı müzik performansı ile hizmet veren mekânın dekoru da ayrıca görülmeye değer. Önü açık sahnesi, ferah atmosferi ve iyi ses sistemiyle Date için örnek bir butik bar denilebilir. Ayrıca bizzat denememiş olsam da, daha erken gelen müşterilerini de güzel bir yemek menüsüyle karşılıyormuş. Menüsünde daha çok Akdeniz Mutfağına ağırlık verilmiş ve fiyatlar İstiklal Caddesi fiyatlarına kıyasla birazcık yüksek denilebilir. Ana yemekler 18 tl - 45 tl arasında değişiyor. Binası 1873'lerden kalma ve yeni ve özenle yapılmış restorasyonu ile tuğla duvarlar açığa çıkarılmış. Bu yönü ortama ayrıca sıcak bir hava katmış. Üst katında ise farklı  tasarımcılar için ayrılmış bölümler var.

We can define Date as one of the new spots of 2014 İstanbul, Asmalımescit area. As far as I understood the managers have bought the place once Cuba Bar was performing and the place right next to it and entered İstanbul night life with their new project. The place in which you can find live music nearly each day of the week also has a decoration worth seeing. It is not wrong to say that it is a good example of boutique bar with its wide stage view, roomy atmosphere and fine sound system. Moreover, although I have not personally tried them, I heard that it welcomes the early customers with a varied and nice dinner menu. The menu lies heavily on Mediterranean Cuisine and the prices are a little bit higher when compared with average İstiklal Street prices. Main courses vary between 18-40 tl. The building dates back to 1873 and in its newly made restoration brick walls are revealed and this also creates a cozy atmosphere in the place. On the second floor there are sections separated for different designers exhibitions.
